The Florida Animal Cruelty Act The Florida Animal Cruelty Act (Amendment 10) is a citizen-sponsored ballot initiative. The primary goal of Amendment 10 is: to prevent a person from confining a pig during pregnancy in an enclosure, or to tether a pig during pregnancy, on a farm in such a way that she is prevented from turning around freely. This ballot measure provides the following exemptions:
